From 16 to 18 September 2024, Cambridge will host Calorics 2024, an academic conference focused on caloric materials and their application for heating and cooling purposes. Organised by Barocal’s founder, Professor Xavier Moya, together with Mengfan Guo and Neil Mathur from the University of Cambridge, the event brings together the calorics research community working on materials, measurements, and device development.
Researchers from universities such as Stanford University, the University of Maryland, and Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) will speak at Calorics 2024, which will take place at the Møller Institute, Churchill College, University of Cambridge.
